The location of this hotel is a unique and unforgettable experience. Situated on a quay, just a short walk from the city center, it offers a peaceful setting with views of the canal. Guests can enjoy the tranquility of the water lapping against the boat, creating a relaxing atmosphere. the boat itself is well-equipped, providing all the necessary comforts for a comfortable stay. the owner and his daughter are also very helpful and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant experience.
There were concerns about the surrounding area. Some guests mentioned feeling ill at ease while taking a walk along the tow path.

the location is lovely - quiet canal in the heart of the city
this is not a luxury experience! I felt the boat had seen better days and the interior was shabby. the smell of disinfectant from the toilet cartridge was overpowering when you were in the bedroom area of the boat

The concept is simple - stay on a houseboat tied up in the canal. The boat was charming and well fitted. I even tried out the shower, which was great. Loved it and the area.
Cobles around the boat proved tricky with high heels on, but the boat was perfect

The experience was fabulous, enjoyed by parents, daughter. Mark, the owner, was very helpful, quick to respond. Lovely setup, boys and adults loved it. Convenient parking, toilet paper can be flushed. Shower spacious, bag returned with no trouble. Cozy and clean, large bed area, modern bathroom. Little personal touches, thoughtful owners. Nice pictures, ornaments. Sleeping space for six, plenty of storage, heaters.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Houseboat! the location was perfect - close to the city center yet peaceful and scenic. the boat itself was cozy and warm, with a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of space for our family. the owners were friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We also enjoyed the delicious full English breakfast at the nearby café. And the bonus of being able to use the Hilton health club was a great added perk. We can't wait to come back!
Felt like family, no complaints.

As longer-term business travelers, we loved the well-maintained and fully equipped facilities on the boat. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the spacious bathroom with a hot shower was a luxury. the owner was always available and extremely helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. We also appreciated the peaceful and quiet location, which was perfect for our work needs. having the convenience of parking right outside the door and a nearby café made our stay even more enjoyable.

I recently had the most amazing stay at Houseboat Hotels in Sheffield. From the moment I stepped on board, I was blown away by the attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the owner. The boat itself was spacious and well-appointed, providing more than enough room for my little boy and me. My son absolutely loved his own little den with a bunk bed that had a curtain and a light inside. It was the perfect spot for him to play with his toys and have some fun. The boat had everything we could possibly need, from cooking equipment to games. It truly felt like a home away from home.
